Midtown’s comprehensive collision repair process combines everything your vehicle needs after an accident with everything you need to navigate the process with peace of mind. From your first estimate to your final wave goodbye, Midtown’s team manages the entire repair journey for you, bringing together expert workmanship and thoughtful support so you can get back on the road quickly and confidently.

Schedule & Prepare Estimate
Call or email the shop to schedule an in-person estimate with us! Estimates usually take between 15-30 minutes, and you're welcome to relax in our waiting area, or simply drop off your vehicle. We'll evaluate your car's damage as best we can without disassembling any parts, then use our collision repair software to provide you an estimate for the repair costs.

Insurance Approval & Repair Scheduling
If you’re working with your insurance company, we’ll send your estimate directly to your provider, and once they approve the repair estimate, we’ll be in touch to get your vehicle booked on our repair schedule. We're happy to offer insurance claim assistance and will work out all the details with your insurance provider so you don't have to!

Vehicle Inspection & Insurance Supplements
On repair day, we’ll start by inspecting your vehicle, disassembling the necessary pieces, and performing detailed mapping to document everything your vehicle needs for its estimated repairs. Sometimes during this process, we discover additional damage that couldn't be seen until parts were removed.
​When this happens, we update your vehicle’s repair plan and send a supplemental estimate to your insurance company. Once every detail is set, we’ll place an order for every part needed to repair your vehicle.

Structural & Body Repairs
Our Certified Steel Structural Technicians will use specialized equipment to measure, realign, and reshape your car’s frame and restore it to the manufacturer’s specifications, ensuring your vehicle protects you the way it was designed to. ​Next, our I-CAR Gold Class Collision Repair Specialists will smooth out dents and rough spots from the accident, or replace any necessary panels. Each panel, hinge, and bracket must be perfectly adjusted to ensure every part of the vehicle fits together correctly and functions properly.

Painting & Refinishing
Painting and refinishing is a multi-step process where our Refinish Technicians will prep your vehicle for paint by first smoothing and cleaning the panels. Next, they’ll apply primer and expertly match your car’s paint color, carefully apply paint, and finish with a clearcoat that adds shine and long‑term protection.
​After the paint cures, our techs will refine their previous work by buffing out and polishing imperfections—making it look like your car was never in an accident!

Reassembly
Our Collision Repair Specialists make sure parts, trim, lights, sensors, and interior pieces that were removed during teardown get put back in place and that everything fits, lines up, and works the way it should.​ Any glass that was broken during the accident will also be replaced at this time.

Calibration & Diagnostics
Our technicians will also ensure your vehicle’s safety and ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems), like lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring, are properly calibrated and ready for use. As a final check, we’ll run diagnostics to spot any airbag or check engine warnings that need attention.

Detailing & Quality Control
Finally, our Detail Specialists will give your car an exterior wash to highlight your car’s new paint job, remove dirt from wheels, and shine windows. They’ll also perform interior detailing to remove any lingering shop dust or overspray, so when you sit behind the wheel for the first time following your repair, your car will feel as new as it looks!
